However, this wasn't really possible at the time of writing, due to lack of documentation. Instead I've done the documented raspberry pi zero version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I might take up the raspberry pi pico challenge at a later time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hardware needed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pseudo Nixie tube clock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raspberry pi Zero<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>usb-c style 5v, 2amp power supply for powering the clock and Rpi-zero.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>usb type A to micro usb cable for connecting to computer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Micro SD card for raspios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I also used a small monitor for initial debugging (booting raspios).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trial &amp; error<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I started by downloading the latest raspios 64bit lite image. Then I added the micro SD card and formatted it as fat.
